ISKCON Salem is located in a spacious three-acre plot, just half a kilometre from Periyaar University and the Government Engineering College. Temple has more than thirty resident devotees and congregation in hundreds. Main festivals celebrated in Salem are Sri Krsna Janmasthami, Govardhana Puja, Gaura Purnima, Radhasthami, and Nrsimha Caturdasi. There is a feast every Sunday from 10:30am to 1pm. In addition to this, there are weekly programs for college youth and Namahatta programs for congregation.
