The primary purpose of ISKCON Chicago is to provide spiritual education and community upliftment through open programs and lectures, food distribution, and programs that explore and expand the public understanding of cultivating relationships. The Temple runs a successful ‘Krishna Lunch’ program that provides university campuses with vegetarian meals that are subsidized, healthy, freshly prepared, karma-free, and yoga-friendly (sattvic).
