ISKCON Birmingham was first established around 1989 and has been actively promoting the ideals of Krishna consciousness through vibrant Sunday feast programs, book distribution, and Harinam sankirtan. ISKCON Birmingham Temple is the Home of Sri Sri Gaura Nitai and Sri Sri Jagannatha, Baladeva and Srimati Subhadra Devi. The major festivals which take place in Birmingham are 24-hour kirtan, Gaura Purinma, Ratha Yatra and Janmasthami.
